Avinash appears again

Shermi was selecting items in a super market. Driver Raju was putting the items in a box.

At the same time Avinash, who was selecting something turned around and saw her. He was shocked. He approached her happily. “Hallo, Shermi. You. Here?”

Shermi was shocked to see him. He came to her and held her hands happily. Shermi became serious. She pushed his hands off. “Don’t hold my hands like that.”

Avinash was surprised. “Why?”

“You should be in jail. How come you are here?”

“The case got cancelled for lack of witness.”

Avinash tried to approach her again.

“Eh! Mister. You are a killer.”

“True. At that time I was a killer. But now I am a changed man. I am a builder now.”

Shermi looked at her driver. “Raju, let us go.”

She moved away fast. Outside, she tried to climb into the car. Avinash came quickly and stopped her. “One minute. I want to talk to you.”

Shermi said, “Please moved away. I want to go.”

She tried to climb into the car. Avinash did not allow her. “That day, you loved me. That fire is still burning in my heart.”

Avinash touched his heart. “See you are still in my heart. Ever since I came out of the jail one year back, I have been searching for you.”

He caught hold of her hand. At the touch, Shermi felt current pass through her. 

“Please let go of my hand. I am a married lady.”

Avinash looked at her seriously. “I love you. I will die without your love. I am living in your thoughts only. Seeing you has sprung a new life in me.”

Shermi released her hand and sat in the car. “Raju, start the car.”

The car moved. Avinash climbed into his car and followed her. Her car entered the house compound. Avinash remained outside and noted down the house number.

At night, Shermi was lying on the bed. She remembered Avinash. When she remembered his touch, her whole body shivered. She rolled on the bed. She remembered the failure of Deepak and the enjoyment she had with Avinash. Her whole body got heated up. She went to the bathroom. She turned on the shower. She held her body tight, shook and got relaxed.
