Burkha trick

Chandru was sitting on the sofa, looking at the gold ornaments sent by Jaidev. Shermi came down the stairs wearing a new dress. Her father looked at her and said, “What my dear, you look so fresh in your new dress. I think that you are very excited about the marriage.”

Shermi smiled.

Chandru pointed to a seat near him. “Come sat near me. See what your uncle had sent for your marriage.”

He opened the box and showed her the ornaments. Shermi moved her eyes over it.

“Your uncle loves you so much. We are your parents just for name sake. His son is younger than you otherwise he would have made you his daughter-in-law.”

 Madhavi brought Tiffin box and kept it on the table. “What to do, my brother got children very late. But he will get our daughter married in a very grand way taking full responsibility.”

Shermi took the Tiffin box and left. Father watched her go.

Chandru said, “Looks like her good days have come.”

Shermi went out of the house and looked towards Avinash’s house. Avinash signalled with his hand. Shermi smiled and nodded her head. She walked slowly towards the bus stop.

Avinash was getting ready in his room. He was whistled happily and wore a new dress. “She will soon be mine.”

He climbed down the stairs.

Shermi was waiting near Sulabh complex. She kept looking at her watch and looking at the road. “Wonder why he has not yet arrived. Suppose someone saw me here. Suppose my uncle saw me?”

She bit her nails nervously.

At that time, Avinash was just climbing on his bike. He had a bag with him.

Meanwhile at the Sulabh Complex, Shermi was sitting with her head in her hands. Anxiously, she was watching the road for Avinash to appear. “It would have been nice if I had taken his cell number.”

Suddenly, she heard the sound of the motorbike. Avinash stopped the bike near her. “Hi, darling.”

Shermi smiled, “Hi.”

Avinash removed his helmet. “You have kept your word. That means you are in love with me.”

Shermi felt shy.

Avinash said, “Thank you very much. Do one thing.”

Avinash gave took a cover from his bag and gave it to her.

Shermi was surprised. “What is this?”

“It is for your safety. Go to the complex and see what it is. You will know how safe it is for us both. Come back soon.”

Shermi was very curious. She took the cover and went into the Sulabh Complex. She looked around. Nobody was there. She opened the cover and looked at the contents. A black burka. She laughed. “Very cunning fellow.”

Shermi wore the burka and went out.

Avinash was waiting for Shermi. A burkha lady appeared. Avinash put his fingers on his mouth in surprise. Shermi came and stood near him.

Avinash said, “Wah! Now you are safe. Nobody will recognize you. Sit behind me.”

Shermi sat behind Avinash. Avinash closed his helmet cover. “Now we are double safe. Hold tight.”

Avinash tried to start the motorbike. It did not start.

Shermi was surprised. “What happened?”

Avinash said, “It is not starting. You hold me tight, and then it will start.”

Shermi was shy. “I am feeling shy”

Avinash looked at her. “I am here to remove your shyness.”

Shermi laughed. “Eh naughty.”

Shermi held him tight. The motorbike started. Avinash drove off in high speed.
