Shermi surprised to see Deepak alive

Deepak came home at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. He searched everywhere for Shermi. He found her unconscious in the Prayer room. He was shocked. He sprinkled water on her. She woke up and was surprised to see him.

Shermi asked, “Is it really you? Deepak?”

Deepak was surprised. “What has happened to you? Yes it is me. Deepak. Your husband.”

Shermi looked all around. She kept staring at him and then at god’s statue.

“I dreamt that you are dead. Is your car ok? Has anything happened to it?”

Deepak became serious. “What are you saying? Why should I be dead? Why should anything happen to me? Tell me clearly.”

Shermi saw his serious face and recovered. “No nothing. Just a bad dream. That’s why I got scared.”

Deepak looked into her eyes. “You know, if you get a dream about my death, it means I have a long life. Come on. Get up. Let us went to the doctor.”

Deepak was going through some files and Shermi was lying on the bed looking at the ceiling. The cell on the table rang. Shermi cut it off. It rang again. She again cut it off. It rang for the third time and again Shermi cut it off. Suddenly, the phone on the table rang. Shermi cut it off too. Deepak kept observing her. Shermi got up and went out. The cell rang again but this time with a different number.

Shermi thought, “I wonder who it is.”

Shermi received it. It was Avinash. Shermi was shocked.

Avinash said angrily, “Eh! Badmash. Why are you not receiving my phone? I know your husband’s number. I will call to his cell, you know.”

Shermi coughed.

Avinash said on phone, “For the first time, my operation had failed. Whenever I place the point, it is always a success. This time, I placed the point for my own job and for your sake. I think you have a hand in the failure.”

 

Shermi was very scared. “Please, I did not do anything. Please do not kill my husband.”

Avinash became serious. “If I leave your husband, I will lose you.”

Shermi said, “You will not lose me. I will take as much money as you want and come with you. But you just leave my husband alone. We will go together somewhere.”

Avinash said seriously, “How many times should I tell you? I don’t need your money. I want to live in your house as your husband. I will not trust you any more. I will keep my 2^nd operation a secret. Tomorrow, I will come to your house at night. If you leak this matter, you will loose your face in the society. Be careful.”
